Jet grouting

The most familiar terms, which is being used are Jet Grouting, Soil Mixing, Cement Deep Mixing, Soil Mixed Wall, Geo-Jet, Deep Soil Mixing, Hydra-Mech, Dry Jet Mixing and Lime column. Similar to other type of soil-cement mixing techniques, in jet grouting method it utilizes water and hardening agent to form soil-cement column except the method of mixing and boring differs. In jet grouting, high pressure jetting fluid that is made of cement grout is used to fracture the soil besides inject grouting solution into space to form a consolidated mass.

These combinations of techniques that involve high pressure and high flow rate, the ground is destructed and changed into soil concrete with expected mechanical and physical characteristics. Jet grout can offer a consolidated mass with a higher compressive strength and lower compressibility than that prepared by other methods.
